Beautiful historic home with lovely staff.

Pros: Staggeringly beautiful property, exquisitely restored with delightful staff who really want you to have a lovely time. Fantastic location, an easy walk through the very safe park to the high street, or walk along the main road if you prefer. There is everything you need to hand.

Cons: If you’ve an over active imagination and you like large, bustling chain hotels, the. This quiet, sedate and historic home won’t be for you. It has sweeping mahogany staircases and its right out of central casting. Halloween was a great season to be there. We loved it!

An experience not to be missed.

Pros: A remarkable house with such history and a real treat. Rooms were all individually decorated and immaculate. Staff were very friendly - well worth a stay to experience something almost frozen in time.

A lovely restored mansion in the heart of Saratoga Springs

Pros: The Inn was very close to the downtown business area, a short five minute walk away. The building restoration was quite well done, and the woodwork was exceptional. The rooms were big and comfortable, and very clean. Adequate on-site parking and lovely grounds surround the building.

Very very pleased with our first stay.

Pros: The two of us loved everything and trying to come back and do a replay. The breakfast was delicious…

Good and interesting

Pros: The bathroom window shade wouldn’t close so we were exposed to the world at night the drapes should cover the window we used a towel and out large bag to keep us from exposing ourselves but that needs to be fixed.

Pros: Gorgeous, spacious, luxurious room (General Grant) with a comfortable bed, a huge, well-appointed bathroom, views of Congress Park and a pool table in the room! A beautiful property, inside and out!

The Batcheller inn was very cool, old Victorian, within walking distance of downtown Saratoga. Loved

Pros: I thought booking.com’s cost for a taxi to the airport of $198.00 was way too excessive, given Uber’s cost was only $42.50. Booking.com was almost five times more than Uber!!!

Cons: I’m sorry I didn’t take Uber on the way to the inn. But at least a regular taxi only charged $90. Still less than half the booking.com proposed charge.

A beautiful house and a real treat to stay in

Pros: The location is excellent. This is an historical building and it's very special.

Cons: The house is being repaired externally as much of the shiplap is in a poor state of repair.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Pros: Beautiful. The history of the property is so interesting.
