The Capitol Hotel

Pros: A nice hotel in a decent location. My room was large, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. Breakfast had different options including toast, biscuits, eggs, and fruit

Cons: The rooms and AC could do with an upgrade.

Amazing rooms, comfy beds!

Pros: The bed and pillows were sooo comfortable! I got a lovely spacious room, nicely sized bathroom, plenty of channels, also with fast WiFi, the perfect setup for staying in until night time! Near plenty of restaurants! The daily breakfast was actually pretty good with a lot of options. Don't miss it! The staff was very friendly and kind!

Cons: The hotel is a bit of a walk from any pharmacy or any store to grab some light snacks. The bathroom was nice but it seemed like the sink was clogged so it took a while for water to drain.

Excellent value for money in a very convenient location.

Pros: Location, price, surprisingly good breakfast included in a very good price. Not a huge range on the breakfast but what is there is more than adequate. Offers Bounce Luggage storage facility, and is right next to the Train and bus station with a good selection of places to eat nearby. Staff are helpful and friendly. Overall excellent value. It is cheaper than most other places and as such you’re not going to get 5 star facilities but for the price it really is excellent value.

Cons: If I’m to be picky I noticed a few spots the vacuum had missed on the floor and it’s not as modern as other hotels but really for the price this is the sort of stuff that comes as a trade off.

Great location and excellent value

Pros: Location next to Bushnell Park and close to downtown. Included breakfast was better than expected.

Cons: Bathroom tub plug was broken. Wifi dropped a few times.

Pros: Good location near public transportation, clean and comfortable room , i arrved late around 12 am the next day and I was able to check-in without any hassle

Cons: Breakfast options were very limited.

Second time staying there and a good value and location for us.

Pros: The breakfast was really good. The beds were comfortable. The location was extremely convenient for our trip.

Cons: Only one elevator worked, which caused long waits for an elevator, especially at breakfast time. Also, the door locks on the rooms didn't work well. I had to have the desk person come open the door. Then, both of our keys quit working and the desk had to fix that, The room was a little noisy being right by the elevator.

2 nights in Hartford

Pros: The room was spacious and included a fridge, microwave, coffee-maker and TV. The beds were comfortable. There was good pressure in the shower. The complementary breakfast was excellent, with a few choices. The staff were very helpful and answered any questions we had. The location beside the bus station was ideal for our needs.

Cons: Thete was only 1 elevator working. Sometimes it was slow, but we never waited more than 5 minutes.

A nice, functional hotel that is worth the price.

Pros: The location was placed near the scenic capitol. The staff were helpful through whatever problem I had, and there was a DASH shuttle to get to my destination at a reasonable time.

Cons: Initial check-in took a long time to complete. One of the two elevators was broken. I was also kind disappointed that they didn't have a pool.

Pros: Great location! Breakfast was good too. It's true that the building is getting old, but we found it clean and comfortable.

Cons: Nothing major... It was a bit expensive for the final result, plus one needs to pay extra for parking. It smelled weed in elevators and lobby. But overall, I'd come back again

Nice location and a great city.

Pros: The location was great and breakfast was better than most. The garage was in the basement which was good as I watched drug dealing near the station !

Cons: Was disappointed didn’t get a park view yet the hotel wasn’t busy at all.
