Wythe Hotel

Housed in a converted 100-year old factory, the 69-room Wythe Hotel is located on the Brooklyn waterfront. It's industrial character has been preserved and some rooms still showcase exposed brick walls. All rooms boast 13-foot high, original timber ceilings, windows and heated concrete floors. Some rooms offers a view of the New York City skyline while others offers guests a peek into the Brooklyn and Williamsburg neighborhoods. Le Crocodile is the hotel’s ground floor restaurant, and Bar Blondeau is the hotel’s bar located on the 6th floor. Bar Blondeau offers small plates while Le Crocodile serves breakfast, lunch and dinner consisting of French eats. Locally sourced ingredients are used for the meals. A private dining room is also available. The North Williamsburg stop for the East River Ferry is 644 metres from the property.

Historic, tasteful hotel with lovely atmosphere

Pros: Lovely historic hotel with lots of thoughtful features in a fashionable part of Brooklyn - shame I didn't get more of a chance to eplore the area. I loved the historic details and found the Bar Blondeau a comfortable place to dine alone with spectacular views. I had a breakfast downstairs in the restaurant and it was the best omelette I have ever tasted. Great place. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the sunrise from my bedroom window

Cons: I really missed having a coffee maker in the room. When you stay alone in a new part of town it can feel daunting to venture out for a coffee fix - without, well having had a coffee!

Perfect balance of relaxing and fun energy.

Pros: Everything. Location. Decor. Elegance. Energy was great. Staff were cool and attentive. Rooms were big and bright which is unusual for NY. The building was beautiful. The bathrooms were clean.

Cons: My only complaint was the fridge (which we loved and appreciated) in our room made too much noise. That’s my only complaint.

Pros: Great location and very cool building. Excellent food and super attentive staff.

Cons: We were disturbed by loud music from a party in the next building. The staff did all they could to help and generously provided us with a complimentary dinner by way of compensation but it’s worth bearing in mind if your stay is at a weekend.

Started for a family wedding that took place in the hotel. Everyone from doorman to reception and the people servicing t

Pros: We LOVED our room, the big windows, the views, the quirky mini bar the super comfortable bed with lovely linen. Location fantastic too, hadn’t stayed in Williamsburg before but it is super cool, full of vintage shops, there are excellent cafes and lovely walks along the river.…

Cons: Maybe a Nespresso machine in the room would have been a bonus, and a few times our room keys cards didn’t work and needed resetting by reception but otherwise everything was perfect.

Brooklyn based.

Pros: We were visiting our son in NYC, coming from Sydney we are used to open space a day our room at the Wythe was fantastic. It was spacious and comfortable. Bed was great. The only thing missing was a coffee maker. Location is fantastic, can be noisy with the roof top bars especially over the weekends. Otherwise it was excellent.

Cons: No coffee maker or ironing facilities. 🫠
