The right place to explore Manhattan & Brooklyn

Pros: Exceptional view, nice bathroom and Marshall loud speaker in the room. Location to explore both Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Cons: Size of the room and little space for hanging one’s clothes. The lobby/bar was always full to the extent we couldn’t get a seat there - to rest or plan the next part of the day - for 5 consecutive days.

Pros: Location is excellent! Lobby area is super cool and restaurant was excellent.

Cons: The room could be a little more spacious. The bathroom is a bit tight.

Excellent, calm Williamsburg alternative to Manhattan

Pros: Charming and cozy with excellent Midtown views, the Hoxton is a quiet, comfortable alternative to staying in Manhattan. I was pleasantly surprised by the small room and communal areas. Williamsburg is a peaceful neighbourhood of shops and restaurants and Manhattan is one stop away by subway. I would come back

Cons: Breakfast at K-Far was a bit pricy, but excellent

Sound Hotel in a great location

Pros: Fabulous location in Williamsburg close to many restaurants and bars. Funky public spaces, bar and restaurant.

Cons: Bathroom floor seal was broken allowing water from the shower to flood across the entire floor. The room was uncomfortably cold on arrival, with heating set very low on a cold New York day.

Overall very pleased.

Pros: The room, lounge and hotel as a whole was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good restaurants in the building (rooftop and ground floor). Great room view of Manhattan skyline. We had a broken hot/cold mixer in the shower, but got it fixed almost right away and got a generous compensation for the trouble.

Cons: Most of the reception staff gave a bit of a junior impression. The bar and lounge at ground floor is nice but mostly packed with non-hotel guests with laptops.

Perfect stay in Williamsburg, recommended!

Pros: The location and atmosphere are superb and we had a very nice room with view. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, a decent size room for New York and a very good shower. Breakfast is not included but plenty of choices to order at the cafe or bar downstairs or around the corner of the hotel at other places. Easy to walk to the metro going into Manhattan or take a bike to visit Williamsburg or Brooklyn.

Cons: Only thing I can think of is that the hotel does not have their own gym facilities

Pros: Small room with astonishing view - good appliances and service We loved the $5 breakfast served at your room in the morning!

Cons: The hotel lobby was quite crowded and noisy
