Romana Hotel - NYC

Great place to stay

Pros: Everything was perfect for 4 nights. They don’t clean the room but you can easily ask for towels and soap. Water was hot, bed was comfortable, photos are accurate (at least the room they gave us was the same as the pictures) I would say it’s a perfect place to sleep and shower.

basic, but exceeded expectations. Very clean and in shape.

Pros: Based on the ratings I was expecting it to be worse. It was actually really clean, warm, functional and convenient. Staff was reasonably friendly and quite responsive. Exceptional value for money for money compared to anything else I saw in NYC that January. Great connectivity via the M line too.

Cons: It’s relatively basic, but again was positively surprised.

Overall pretty satisfied with the stay

Pros: Its location, proximity with local transport and manhattan

Cons: Tv was basic, no netflix or prime to watch a movie or something

Pros: The receptionists are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and conducive. It is a very lovely place to be honestly

Cons: The $100 deposit that I paid on arrival . Though I was told it will be refunded but yet to be done .

Close to F line, quick travel to downtown.

Pros: Big room with a nice view. Hotel is 5min walk from F line, which takes 20min to get to most of NYC.

Cons: The area around the hotel is a bit trashy, but it's nothing serious, just mind your business and you're good.

Quick good stay

Pros: Last minute stay when flights got cancelled. mid way between JFK and LGA. Room was clean, pretty big for NYC and very close to subway station. Would stay there again

Great location,good value for money

Pros: Nice, clean hotel. We had a room on 11th floor,so we had a nice view. Very good to compare price x location. Subway is few minutes away and it is only 2 stops to Manhattan. We walked several times to Manhattan via Queensboro bridge,it is not far and you can come to Central park in an hour by foot if you like walking.If we will visit NY again,we will stay here for sure.

Pros: I had a few concerns about this hotel based on the reviews, but the room I was staying in exceeded my expectations. It was big, clean, with a comfy bed and decent bathroom. Great deal for a 1 night stay.

Cons: The neighbourhood is not the best as it’s a bit sketchy at night.

Pros: Clean comfy beds. Loved the location... Multicultural, felt safe, good local shops, near subway station, walking distance to NYC ferry

Cons: Aircon a bit noisy. Adjoining room had a man talking very loudly on his phone in the middle of the night. Old mattresses in stairwell, although we could use the lift

Very enjoyable with tremendous value

Pros: Just off the Queensboro Bridge from Manhattan, very inexpensive for an NYC hotel and a five minute subway ride into Manhattan.

Cons: Neighborhood isn't the best
